FACULTY
Ann E. Jerome, PhD, CCH, RSHom(NA) is the Director of the school. A graduate of Yale and Brown Universities, Ann was a veteran university professor before encountering homeopathy and dedicating her teaching talents to her newfound passion. She has been teaching homeopathy for over ten years, engaging students at all levels from beginners to professionals. Ann has published extensively in scholarly, professional, and lay magazines. She serves as a board member for the National Center for Homeopathy and as the NCH's Dean of Education.
Julia Eastman, DOM, CCH has maintained one of the busiest practices in the country for over ten years. Her teachers include Durr Elmore, Anne Schadde, and Henny Heudens-Mast, and she has traveled widely to pursue her study of homeopathy. Balancing hard work with a healthy sense of humor, Julia is a meticulous and inspiring teacher and a committed mentor for her students.
M.J. Hanafin RN, CNM, C.Hom, Dip.Hom is a nurse midwife with 42 years' experience in home and hospital births in England and the U.S. She has used homeopathy at births for most of her professional life. M.J. has taught extensively around the world in all areas of homeopathy, with a special focus on midwifery, obstetrics, and infant health, and she has published in both homeopathy and midwifery journals. Her students rave about M.J.'s ability to provide practical information they can put to immediate use as she makes remedies come alive.
Polly Millet, ARNP is a 2009 graduate of the Academy's professional training program. She has been teaching nursing for over 30 years, specializing in psychiatric nursing. Polly lives, teaches, and rides her horse in Ocala, Florida. She teaches the Academy's Human Health Sciences course and is well known among Academy students for her ability to make complicated topics clear, logical, and memorable.
Nicholas Nossaman, MD, DHt has been in private practice in homeopathy for over thirty years. He lives and works in Denver, Colorado. Bringing a broad array of interests into the light of his homeopathic teaching, he inspires students to make creative and thought-provoking connections. Nick has a long history of distinguished service to the homeopathic profession through many organizations and has published and lectured on the relationship between homeopathy and Jungian psychology.
Molly Punzo, MD is currently Chief Quality Officer for Shore Health System of the University of Maryland. She was a founder and director of the Department of Integrative Medicine at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut and has worked in a wide range of care settings from the emergency room to private practice. Molly serves on the Board of the National Center for Homeopathy and is an infectiously passionate teacher for both home prescribers and clinicians.
