This is not distance learning as you may know it. Our version of home study encompasses a wide variety of learning activities to keep you motivated and engaged. We include an unprecedented amount of live contact with your instructors and connect you with other students to form a complete learning community. We also offer case study intensives where our students come together in person for hands-on practice with the skills they have learned.
Our homeopathy courses are offered on a rotating basis, with new courses starting all year round. We update our schedule of courses regularly. Please contact us for more information about our home study courses, or join our mailing list to receive updates on courses as they are scheduled.

The Academy Student’s Experience
Our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and approach their homeopathic education in their own individual ways. Some take one course at a time; some take several simultaneously. Some students come for a complete training program, while others come to learn a specific set of skills. Still others have already trained elsewhere and come to the Academy to continue their training or to brush up on a few particular areas.
Each course is staffed by a master teacher and a tutor. Master teachers are fully credentialed in homeopathy and are highly experienced both as practitioners and as teachers; their role is to shape the contents of the course and to deliver the weekly webinar presentations. Tutors are homeopaths earlier in their careers who work more closely with students. Tutors answer questions between class meetings, monitor the class' online community forum, assist with any difficulties in completing assignments, assess students’ work, and assist the master teacher at the live online class meetings. In some courses, the master teacher serves also as the tutor.
Students generally devote between 4 and 8 hours per week to each course. All class meetings are recorded and are available for review until the end of the course. Here is an example of the experiences you might find in a typical 4-week course:
Week 1:
1 ½ hour watching recorded webinar by the course’s master teacher
1 hour reading
1 hour contributing to the class' online forum
1 hour hands-on practice assignment with a friend at home
2 hour live online class
Week 2:
1 ½-hour watching recorded webinar by the master teacher
1 hour reading
1 hour contributing to the class'online forum
Work on an assigned case:
· 1 hour individual study of the case
· 1 hour videoconference with a fellow student to prepare a presentation on the case
· 2 hour live online class meeting to share presentations and finalize the case
Week 3:
1 ½ hour watching recorded webinar by the master teacher
1 hour contributing to the online forum
1 hour research on an assigned topic
1 hour videoconference with 4 fellow students discussing results of research
2 hour live online class meeting
Week 4:
1 ½ hour watching recorded webinar by the master teacher
2 hours individual study and reporting on an assigned case
1 ½ hour live online class meeting to discuss the case
1 hour contributing to the online forum
1 hour completing culmination/assessment task (test or paper, etc)
